Hello team,

My customer would like to connect from LVPECL to LVDS using CDCLVP1216 and CDCLVD1216 with DC coupled as below.
THe customer want to use either of the following schematics? Is it acceptable?

    Hi Akihisa,

    CDCLVP1216 and CDCLVD1216 both have universal inputs that accept LVPECL, LVDS, and LVCMOS levels.

    For CDCLVP1216 driving CDCLVD1216 (top and bottom schematics), use the termination shown in datasheet Figure 16. This is the standard LVPECL termination for driving a receiver powered from VCC = 2.5V and DC-coupled to bias to VCC-2V with 50ohm equivalent termination

    For CDCLVP1216 driving another CDCLVP1216 (bottom), use the termination shown in datasheet Figure 16 or 17 depending on whether VCC = 2.5V or VCC = 3.3V .

    For CDCLVD1216 output termination, it looks correct, simply use the 100-ohm differential termination at the receiver.
