TLC2933A: FSK Demodulator

Hi Team,

A customer wants to use TLC2933A as an FSK demodulator. The input FSK modulated signal-carrier frequency is close to 50MHz and the data rate is 2MBps. His questions are as follows:

1. Can TLC2933A meet the requirement?

2. Does it need an external loop filter?

3. Does it need external buffer amplifier or comparator at PFDOUT?

Thank you for the clarification. Can you recommend a device that can satisfy the customer's requirements for an FSK modulated signal-carrier frequency of 50MHz and data rate of 2MBps.

I would defer this to the product team in Clock & Timing forum to recommend the appropriate parts from the product selection matrix

I have transferred this forum thread to them to see if they can make a recommendation.

Processors team does not have a device to recommend for TLC29x follow on.

Hi Danilo,

Unfortunately, our team do not have anything that fit for this application.

The wireless connectivity team has some transceivers capable of doing FSK demodulation but the min. input frequency is greater than 100MHz and support up 1.25Mbps data rate only.

I do not aware TI has solution for this application.

Can you share the part number of the transceiver that is capable of doing FSK demodulation at 100MHz and support up 1.25Mbps data rate?
