LMX2571: open loop phase noise

Hi team,

Customer is wondering how could them test the open loop phase noise, they want to evaluate internal VCO open loop phase noise performance?

Is there a way to test? As i noticed on datasheet, TI provide the PNvco parameter at EC table

If want to test the internal VCO open loop phase noie, is it possible to add external charge pump to internal VCO?

Hi Gene,

To break the loop, we can set charge pump to Tri-state.
