CDCE813-Q1: CDCE813-Q1 Jitter clean

Part Number: CDCE813-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE913-Q1, , CDCE913

Hi team,

If cdce813 could support 8.25MHz LVCMOS input, and output same 8.25MHz LVCMOS clock signal?

We want to clean the original PCLK jitter.

If it is possible, what do we need to configure?

And can we place CDCE813-Q1 into CDCE913-Q1 EVM?

Thanks.

  • Hi Fery,

You will need to program the device if the input frequency is less than minimum VCO frequency (70MHz). The loop filters will be set automatically internally. However, note that CDCE813 does not have very good performance. Make sure that the jitter performance is sufficient for your need.

Yes you can evaluate CDCE813 on a CDCE913 EVM. They are the same die with different EEPROM.

    Regards,
    Hao
