Hello, I am making design which needs WDT, but is needed big time for system boot up. i try with TPS3813K33DBVR ... this IC is not suitable for my design. Can you advise me which IC can do this:

wait for first clock pulse and start WDT

if no pulse in predefined time period reset

when reset stop reading clock pulses and wait again for first pulse

the system boot up for about 20-40 sek.

    Stoyan,

    Do you want voltage supervisor with watchdog or just a watchdog device?

    Do you want standard watchdog (only late or missing pulses cause fault) or window watchdog (early pulses and late/missing pulses cause fault)

    Please see our TPS3430 for window watchdog device or TPS3431 for standard watchdog device.

    If you need voltage monitoring, please see TPS3850 or TPS3851.

    These 4 devices are programmable and tested up to 77 seconds watchdog timeout, but you can increase timing beyond this if necessary. These devices also provide a watchdog disable feature which may help you use the watchdog only when needed in the application or if an extended time is needed before turning watchdog on.
