Does the PLL+VCO LMX2572 also supports the PSK modulation?

Hi Matteo,

The phase adjustment with MASH_SEED can do some sort of PSK modulation. Keep programming MASH_SEED will change the output phase continuously. I haven't tried this before, I am not sure how good the constellation diagram looks like.

Only two phase values must be used: 0° and 180°. It's a BPSK modulation.

Hi Matteo,

180deg is a big jump, it is only possible with certain conditions, check datasheet section 7.3.12 for details.

The two output signals from the same output buffer are 180deg out of phase, maybe you can toggle an external switch to select one of them at a time. This way, you will get a BPSK signal after the switch.
