For example we have used 10uf cap on VbiasVCO per previous guidance. Datasheet now calls for It is now 470nh. We are just about to go into production and have a small window for changes, what is the significance/intent of these cap value changes.

Hello David,
If your application requires you to power-up and power-down the device repeatedly, then it is better to change this capacitor as per the datasheet recommendation. This is because the larger capacitor value increases the startup time of the internal LDO, which may increase the time it takes for you to see an output after powerup.
On the other hand if you are going to power on the device, lock and keep in running then this may not be a consideration for you.
Thanks,
Vibhu
