The datasheet does not describe fail safe operation.  What are the criteria for switchover and timing?  Which input is the secondary clock? Where can I find this information.

    CDCLVD1204 does not offer any fail safe operation.  The switching over from one input to another input is not  glitch-free and there is no priority. It has a simple 2:1 MUX included. You can consider one input as primary and other one is secondary.
