LMX2595EVM: Only produce one ramp

HI there,

I'm using the LMX2595EVM along with the reference pro and I am trying to produce a ramp from 8000MHz to 8100MHz over a 1024us period and for it to only do the RAMP0 function and it seems that when I turn the ramping function on it does the ramp once and then goes back to being a CW frequency. I am using an external Oscillator at 50MHZ instead of the integrated 100MHz one on the EVM board. I've posted my setup. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Callum,

in the RAMP page, in the VCO Calibration block, set the Threshold from 30 MHz to 300MHz (whatever greater than 100 is good).

Once the accumulated ramp frequency hit this threshold, a VCO calibration will be trigger. Since your frequency ramp range is only 100MHz, you may not need VCO calibration.
