LMX2594: Normalized PLL noise floor

Hi Team,

My customer is looking at the LMX2954 & the LMX2592, and there is a question about Normalized PLL noise floor of them from them..
- LMX2594: Normalized PLL noise floor: -236 dBc/Hc (Typ)
- LMX2592: Normalized PLL noise floor: -231 dBc/Hc (Typ)

Could you tell me how much individual variation there are in these "Normalized PLL noise floor"?
This is because they want to use it as a guideline for the phase noise margin.
As a guide, it does not have to be the specified value.
Please let us know if you have any experimental values or evaluation data.

Hi Ninomiya-san,

The flicker noise (or 1/f noise) and FOM (or normalized noise floor) are not tested in production, they are usually presented as a typical value in the datasheet.

These noises are primary came from the PLL, we expect their variation is only a dB or two over PVT.
