LM567C: Frequency Detection With Digital Output

Part Number: LM567C

Hey Team,

I had a quick question on an application that is new to me. We are looking for a frequency detect circuit with a digital output. Do you have any thoughts on the LM567C in an application like this:

Right now I am struggling with finding a solution for a frequency threshold detector.  I have a sensor that gives a square wave  50% duty cycle 0-10Hz. I want a circuit that  will give a digital output high signal if a the input frequency is greater than 1.2Hz and give a digital low out if the input is lower than 0.8Hz.

Do you know if you have any circuitry that could detect this? I have looked at frequency to voltage converters but they seems to be working quite bad in these low frequency range. I would like to avoid using a MCU for this task if possible.

Regards,

Ramon
