Hello Team,

Can you please confirm the minimum frequency step for which we can achieve with the LMX2615 PLL chip and will this step size depends upon the PFD frequency?

What will be the frequency drift of the internal VCO's and Is this drift impact the frequency accuracy of the locked RF output signal?

  • Hi Varaprasad,

    Frequency resolution = phase detector frequency / PLL fractional denominator.

    When the PLL is locked, VCO frequency follows the reference clock, if the reference clock does not drift, VCO frequency will not drift.
