LMX2571: VCPEXT Pin Best Practice

The datasheet encourages the use of 3.3V switching supplies because the part has internal regulation. Is this also true with the VCPEXT pin, or should this rail be driven by a +5V linear regulator?

Hi There,

in synthesizer mode, this pin can be tied to 3.3V or 5V supply, DC/DC supply is fine.

in PLL mode, sorry that we did not make it clear in the datasheet, we should tie it to a clean 5V supply.
