LMX2615-SP: Registers & Setup

Part Number: LMX2615-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TICSPRO-SW

Team,

1)       The datasheet mentions writing the first 75 registers in reverse order.  Does that include writing registers that are “reserved”? Or do I just need to write the registers that I need to set up?

2)      Why does “Figure 31. R0 register only show 8 bits”. This actually happens in the datasheet with a lot of the registers, why is that?  Shouldn’t it show 16. What am I misunderstanding.

Thank you.

  • Hello Go,

It is recommended to write all that registers, including the reserved registers as described in the datasheet.

Their was an issue with importing the registers into the datasheet. This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next revision of the datasheet. Please follow "Table 19. Complete Register Map Table" or export the registers from TICSPRO-SW.

    Thanks,

    Vibhu
