I need to replace the DS3232MZ. Cost and room on PCB are key factors.

The RTC with I2C interface is mandatory.

What can I propose?

Hi Riccardo,

The closest solutions we have are the bq32000 or the bq32002 (bq32002 has an integrated trickle charger). Both solutions require an external 32.768kHz crystal. All other TI discrete RTCs are designed for parallel bus systems.
