1. Please review the BQ32002 circuit below.

2. The specifications of Y1 are as follows.

Do I need C555 and C556 capacitors? If so, how should I calculate the values?

Hi JH,

Confirm that SCL/SDA lines have pull-up to VCC located somewhere near the I2C bus master or the bq32002. You can remove C555/C556.
C555/C556 are not necessary, as the bq32002 has internal 12pF load capacitance (see ).
