LMX2594: deterministic delay in repeater mode

Part Number: LMX2594

After SYNC, there is a deterministic delay between OSC rising edge and RFout rising edge. It's t2.

In repeater mode, if the rising edge of SysRefReq meet the setup/hold timing requirement of OSC, there is a deterministic delay between OSC rising edge and Sysref rising edge. It's also t2.

Is it correct?

What is the value of t2?

  • Hello Xiao Peng,

The value of t2 will change by some amount depending on the output divider used and PVT. Moreover, the value can be defined arbitrarily if the fractional divider is engaged, by setting the MASH_SEED value. I'm not sure we have this data for the general case, but we may have it for specific cases. Please give me some time to check.

    Regards,
