LMK05318: Is BAW VCO frequency fixed?

Hi team,

I'm confused with BAW resonant VCO in LMK05318. Is the fvco1, the output frequency of VCO1, tunable by equation (2) or fixed by 2.5GHz with 50ppm?

    Hello Minkyung,

    VCO1 has a fixed frequency of 2.5 GHz. If the device is run in free-run mode, then equation 2 is used to set the VCO1 frequency to met free-run conditions (as stated below).

    For a explanation on how free-run mode operates, please look at section 9.3.8.2 in the LMK05318 data sheet. I have included a snippet of the section below.
