Hello,
Could you please provide the random additive jiiter data for fout = 25MHz ?
The CDCLVP1204 data sheet contains only the random additive jitter data for fout=100MHz or higher.
Thanks.
JH

Hello JH,
We may not have data collected for every possible frequency. That said I would expect the additive jitter to be around 100 fs.
If you can provide the target you want to hit, we may be able to provide a better answer on whether it is possible.
Keep in mind the jitter will also depend significantly on how clean the input reference is as well.
I would also consider evaluating the device further using the CDCLVP1204EVM with your specific input source.
Thanks,

Hello Vibhu,
Thank you for your reply.
My customer is looking for 1:4 LVPECL clock buffer with an additive jitter of <80 fs at 25MHz.
Could you please recommend a suitable device ?
The clock buffer datasheets I found do not contain the additive jitter charaterstics for 25MHz.
Thank you.

Hello JH,
There are two devices that I recommend for this application. CDCLVP1204 and LMK00304.
In either case I do not think you can meet < 80 fs at 25 MHz, assuming your jitter integration bandwidth is 12 kHz-20 MHz.
Both these devices have additive jitter of ~ 80 fs at 100 MHz input frequency. The jitter is expected to be higher for a lower input frequency.
Thanks,
Vibhu
