LMX2592: LMX2592's RF(RF outA, RF outB) termination method and RF out disable method.

Dear all,

I would like to ask about RF output port(RF outA or outB) termination method and RF out disable method.

I am designing local portion using LMX2592. Then, Our circuit design is one RF out only.

One RF out is connect Mixer local, Another RF out on LMX2592 is not used for our circuit.

Could you please inform us about RF out termination method and RF out disable method or example circuits.

Hi Haru,

If either outA or outB is not used, you can leave the pins floating and not enabling it (set OUTA_PD or OUTB_PD = 1).

If single-ended output is required, the unused pin still need pull-up to Vcc and terminated with a load. See the Schematic section of below EVM user's guide for details.

Thank you for your support.

I would like to confirm about "pins floating" meaning.

For example, If the RF out B is disable, LMX2592's RF out BM(pin 19) and RF out BP(pin 18) dose not connect?

In other words, Are LMX2592's RF out BM(pin 19) and RF out BP(pin 18) NC(Non connect)?

Please confirm.

correct, do not connect BM and BP pins.
