CDCI6214: Bypass functionality

Part Number: CDCI6214

Hello

We want to use CDCI 6214 as a clock distributor. REF input is connected to 100MHz, HCSL . I2C interface of the CDCI is connected to the controller. We are using EEPROM page 1. The outputs are: OUT 1 and OUT 4. Which registers and how should be changed to make the chip work as a clock distributor?

Regards

  • Hello,

So the intention is to bypass the input directly to the output? The register writes can be identified by using TICSpro software:

    Wrote Register R0x25 as 0x0025 C006
    Wrote Register R0x2B as 0x002B C000
    Wrote Register R0x31 as 0x0031 C006
    Wrote Register R0x37 as 0x0037 C000

    Image below as well.

    Thanks and regards,

    Amin
