DP8573A: assert signal every specific time

Hi Ann,

Yes, it is possible to set an alarm using the Alarm feature. When the alarm interrupt enable bit is set, you can program the value in the Time Compare RAM to set the alarm.

Hi Ann,

DP8573A is a good option due to having the alarm feature. You might also consider BQ3285E/L for its alarm feature.

If the alarm is not required, I recommend BQ32000 or BQ32002

Thanks for your suggestion for DP8573A, But I think it;s not suitable for our application.

could you provide others RTC solution for below requirement ?

- 3.3V operation.

- support i2c/SMbus interface.

- GPO support Alarm feature.

- low power consumption(under 1mW).

BQ32000 or BQ32002 is the best recommendation, but it does not have the alarm feature.

Operates from 3.3V supplies
supports I2C
less than 1mW current consumption
