BQ32002: Backup Supply Current

Dear TI Team

Our customers considering BQ32002 are looking for an RTC product with a much lower Backup Supply Current than BQ32002 to further extend the life of the battery used for backup.

I have confirmed that there are no TI RTC products with Backup Supply Current smaller than 0.9 μA (typ) for BQ32002.
Is there any other product that meets the above requirements?
(Also, if there is any alternative other than RTC products that meets the above requirements, I would be grateful if you could let me know.)

    Hi Y.Ottey,

    There are some RTC devices with lower specified backup supply current, but they are much older than BQ32002 and would have other differences such as serial/parallel programming rather I2C. These devices include BQ3285, BQ4802Y, or BQ4845, with backup current less than 500nA. However, TI doesn't offer any RTCs similar to BQ32000 with lower current at this time.
