CDCLVP111-SP: buffering Sine Wave Using CDCLVP111-SP

Part Number: CDCLVP111-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCLVP111

Hi TI expert

Can cdclvp111  access single ended sine wave signal?

According to the understanding of the rising edge of the clock, the input sine wave may cause the jitter index to deteriorate?

Best regards,

Thomas

  • Hello Thomas,

This device is expecting a LVECL/LVPECL input pair, since a sine wave would be introduced this could be an issue at lower frequencies.

There is no specified Slew rate required but sine wave input is not recommended at all and therefore could definitely cause issues on output and therefore jitter.
