CDCLVP1204: CDCLVP1204 TERMIANTION REG

I am connecting CDCLP1204 with LMK61E2 as per the below image.

Please verify the above schematics & provide any extra terminations to be provided?

  • Here is some feedback on the schematic:

    • Assumed that LMK61E2 has the proper I2C pullup resistors
    • Consider using the recommended power supply filter from LMK61E2 datasheet section 10 (Power Supply Recommendations)
    • Figure 23 of CDCLVP1204 datasheet shows different values for the power supply decoupling but your filter looks OK.
    • I believe you intended to use the INP0/INN0 input pair of CDCLVP1204. The schematic above is showing that the non-inverting input of each input pair is being driven.
    • For this AC-coupled input configuration, connect the inputs to VAC_REF with 50ohm resistors as per CDCLVP1204 datasheet figure 13 (VBB = VAC_REF)

      • As per Figure 13, it is the output for CDCLVP1204, the same way i have connected the output.
      • At destination i am connecting TLK10031, for this any terminations at input side of TLK10031 to be used?? Please specify 

  • TLK10031 has an internal 100ohm on the REFCLK inputs, no external termination is required.
