LMK05318B: Question with regards to status polarity

Part Number: LMK05318B

Hello,

LMK05318B Register Programming Manual has this description for R22:

However, the datasheet has the following statement with regards to the status polarity:

These 2 statements seem contradictory or a minimum unclear. Does R22[1] = 1 or R22[0] = 1 invert and if so is that active low or active high?

Thanks.

  • The register programming document is incorrect. That is the opposite of the behavior.

    • In normal operation - R22[1] = 0 and R22[0] = 0 - the selected status signal will be true for High output on the status channel. Meaning "Active High".
    • When R22[1] = 1 and R22[0] = 1, then the status signal is inverted, meaning the selected status signal will be true for a Low output on the status channel. Meaning "Active Low".

There will be a correction made to the register programming manual in its next iterations.

    Thanks and regards,

    Amin
