DAC7716: Power on Interval for IOVDD and DVDD

Hello,

I considering circuit board used DAC7716.

I considering power sequence below. (Based on page 22 POWER SUPPLY SEQUENCING on data sheet)

1st: IOVDD power on

2nd DVDD power on

3rd AVDD/AVSS power on

There may be a time difference of about 1 second between IOVDD power on and DVDD power on, but I would like to know if there is a problem or not.

Hi,

I dont recommend powering up IOVDD before DVDD. Perferred sequencing scheme is as follows.

1. DVDD & IOVDD together or DVDD first then IOVDD

2. AVSS & AVDD

3.Reference Voltage (REF-x should be applied after AVDD comes up in order to make sure the ESD protection circuitry does not turn on)

Hope this clarifies your query regarding power supply sequencing
