DAC8775: CURRENT OUTPUT 0~1mA

Part Number: DAC8775
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8750, DAC53701, DAC80501

I want use DAC8775 to output a 0~1mA current signal, and the load is a pt100 resistor which connected GND directly.  Can I use DAC8775 to implement it?

  • Do you only need one channel? The DAC8775 might be overly complicated for this application.  Depending on your required resolution, you could consider using the DAC53701 as a high-side current source, or a device like the DAC8750 or DAC80501+V/I stage.

    Thanks,
