The table of pin descriptions on page 14 describes RESET (BAR) as active high reset yet the name indicates active low (BAR).
Figures 4 & 5 continue this confusion.
Could someone please tell me the correct polarity.

Apologies for the confusion.
I do agree about the discrepancy in the datasheet.
You can consider RESET(BAR) to be active low signal, which means when RESET(BAR) = 1 (Inactive state). A low pulse at-least 50 ns wide on the RESET(BAR) pin is required when initialization is done via a hardware reset. An illustrative diagram is shown on Figure 74 depicts the functionality.
I will share this concern as well with the corresponding team and we shall get the datasheet updated.
