Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4400
Hello Team,
I am just curious if the EVM has Oximax technology and is compatible with Nellcor sensors that utilize it?
Regards,
Renan

Hello Renan,
It doesn't.
Hello Praveen,
If the AFE4400 does not use OxiMax technology, what technology does it use for compatibility? My customer is intending to use a Nellcor pulse oximeter sensor, but if that will not work, what brands are compatible with the AFE4400?
Regards,
Renan
Hi Renan,
I am not exactly sure what is OxiMax technology. From what I read online, I just understand that the sensor calibration data is stored in the sensor instead of the monitor. AFE4400 does not use this technology. So long as the pulse oximeter sensor (LEDs and photodiode) is connected to the AFE as outlined in section 8.1 in the EVM user guide, then the AFE can turn on the LEDs and read the photodiode current.
