DDC264EVM: Time of response

I use DDC264EVM for measuring the current of SiPD. first of all I put the SiPD in quite dark room and then read the value of ddc. it's about 2000. After that I change the position of SiPD and put it in normal light of room. The value that we see in software is about 70000. But when we put the SiPD back to the quite dark place the value changes very slowly and we should wait 5 minutes or more to reach the correct value that we expected. We made a video from our experiment to show you the exactly what we meant.

There is any reason other than protection that you put these capacitors on board? I think these capacitor are the reason of our delay problem.

Hi Sajjad,

As mentioned in the previous post, the AIB is for the device evaluation using the resistor by applying a voltage at the Vin connection. These capacitors are for providing instantaneous charge whenever necessary. For your application, you may have to remove the resistor, replace it with your sensor, and connect it to your intended sensor configuration.
