ADS1298RECGFE-PDK: ADS1298RECGFE-PDK Evaluation Model

Part Number: ADS1298RECGFE-PDK

I'm using this Evaluation model for measuring ECG but I'm not using battery as a power source, I'm using grid power through an adapter.

I know grid has too much noise in it to contribute into system. So, I want to know about some particular IC's which can help me block this noise by grid.

Is there any IC of that sort?

  • Hi Raj,

Welcome to the E2E forum !!!

There is no specific device that can completely block the power line interference. If you are using the PDK for evaluation, you can use external USB isolators or power isolators to minimize such interference. Please do a search on these devices for your application.

    Thanks

  • And if I use the same circuit design of the PDK to make a new board, then should I use the same components you've mentioned above for isolation or is there something else too which can be implemented in the board itself to reduce the interference?

    Thanks.

  • I saw about above mentioned isolators by you. They do not fit in my application.
