ADS127L01: ADS127L01 DIGIKEY AND MASTER MARKING

Part Number: ADS127L01

Dear Sir/Madam

Good day!

I have bought a TI part ADS127L01IPBS from Digikey, but our customer feedback said the TI LOGO on the top marking is different as his Master sample, pls check pictures below.

And he said X-RAY also different(but i think it's the direction problem). The d/c of digikey one is 2152+,marking 1CTG4,the Master sample marking is 15TG4(it's May-2021),so they're different week code.

May i know is there any change on the marking of the TI LOGO or X-ray after May 2021+?Is there a PCN document? If not,can you help me to explaine the difference?

We want to dispel these doubts, pls help to check and reply.

Many thanks for your help!

Have a nice day~

Susan

  • Hello Susan,

Since Digi-Key is an authorized distributor for TI, as long as these parts were directly purchased from Digi-key, then you have original TI devices.

Please give me a few days, and I will see if I can confirm the markings are correct for the recently purchased devices.

  • Dear Keith

    Many thanks for your reply.

But we still need your confirmation on the marking and X-RAY as parts reject under production.

Will need to know why TI  logo difference have TI full dot and TI small circle dot .

As for wafer if we rotate 90 degrees, it is correct but the number in the circle orientation will be different . 3F4  and 4B8 are 90 degrees different.

So we want to know is there any change after 2021-May?Becuase they're different week codes.

I am really appreciated your help!

    Best wishes~

    Susan

  • Hello Susan,

I confirmed that these are correct parts.  Pin 1 orientation on the top side package is correct.  The differences in the markings are due to different laser symbol machines used to mark the parts.

The lead frame is symmetrical, and can be rotated depending on the production lot.

    Regards,
    Keith
