I'm using AMC7823 with 3.3V for AVDD.
Can we use a 2.5V- external reference voltage?
Or do we have to use only 1.25-external reference voltage?
What happens if we use a 2.5V- external reference voltage?

If the VREF×2 is greater than AVDD, you would expect large full-scale and gain errors. DAC linearity is not guaranteed even for the 3.3V of the ideal 5V range when the reference condition is violated.

Dear Paul,
Thank you very much for answering to my questions.
I also confirmed the range of external reverence voltage in the spec sheet.
It writes from 1.20 Vto 1.28 Vwhen AVDD is 3V.
Therefore, I will decide to use internal reference voltage.
