Team,

My customer has these two cases as below and need to check the AMC7836 DAC output status for these two cases. Note that the Vss is -8V in their system. Thank you!

Case #1: Bring up device normally -> IOVDD is floated after bring up and the other power rails are normal

Case #2: Bring up the device, with the IOVDD is floated and the other power rails are normal.

Please help to reply soon as this issue is kind of urgent.

    Hi Qiang,

    Assuming that no other input is biasing the IOVDD domain to higher voltage (such as a digital input being 3.3V while IOVDD is floating, which violates the abs. max. table), then in both these cases, we would expect the device to stay in RESET condition.  The outputs will be clamped to the VSS supply.
