ADS1262: Alternative to ADS1262/ADS1263

Hi,

We are almost finished with the design of a product that uses the ADS1262 32bit ADC. Production is scheduled for May 2023. 

Unfortunately these parts seem to be unavailable everywhere and TI doesn't know when they will be in stock again. 

Can you please suggest an alternative part with performance comparable to the ADS1263/ADS1262 so to think on redesigning the PCB? This will be used in high precision load cell applications.

A prompt reply will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Patricio Cohen93,

    In terms of performance, the most comparable ADCs to the ADS1262 are the ADS1261 or ADS1235. The ADS1235 is a subset of the ADS1261, so it has some features removed e.g. the internal reference, a few of the intermediate gain options, etc. But the ADS1235 can be used for bridge measurements as well. Neither of these devices are pin compatible to the ADS1262.
