DAC101S101: DAC101S101 in package SOT-23 (6) (DDC0006A) Pin-1 orientation

Part Number: DAC101S101

Hello,

in DAC101S101 in package SOT-23 (6) (DDC0006A) isn't clear the Pin-1 of the component, the  real component seems different from that is shown on Component, see following Print Screens. In real component there is white lined under Marking code and also perpendicular, in right side (after end of marking code). I assume it the dot before Marking Code is Pin-1, but the dot isn't in corner of the component and more close to meddle of component.

Pls advise

Thank You

  • Hi Loenid,

my understanding is that the DOT is pin 1.

    Thanks,

    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

Thanks, usually it's as in your DWG it's in corner of component, but in this case, in real part (pls see a picture), the Dot is more closer to meddle of the part, than to Pin- 1 component corner, so for ICT machine in SMT will be hard to recognize it, to that side the Dot is belonged.

Does the Marking direction is always in this way and can't be rotated in 180 degree in other batch ?

    Pls advise

    Thanks

  • Hi Leonid,

The indicator is always on on the side of the device which features pin 1.  While it is near the center, it is left of center.  As this package is a dual row package, it is really only necessary to identify the side of the device which features pin 1 because the device can only be 180degrees incorrect.

    Thanks,Paul
