DAC5652-EP: Maximum of update rate

Hello,

I'm looking for a dual channels DAC for a space radar. I need to use it at an update rate of 250MSPS. The ADC5652-EP is presented on the website with a maximum of 275MSPS, but the datasheet indicates it is "not production tested" at this condition. Can you confirm I can use this DAC at 250MSPS? And if it's ok, what are the main changes in performances (like power consumption). Thanks for your help.

The DAC5652-EP will work at 250 MSPS. Please refer to the commercial part for the specifics on expected device performance (such as power consumption):

Hi Amy,

Thank you for your answer. I have another question about the DAC5652-EP to be sure it will work in space environment: Do you know why its datasheet gives only 200MSPS on the first page? Is it because of specific conditions needed to have up to 275MSPS?

Hi Victor,

This device was production tested at 200M. It will work at 250 MSPS. However, the device was not production tested at 250 MSPS and so we cannot guarantee that it will work across temperature.
