ADS1015: Analog Signal level shifting

We are planning to use ADS131M03 for measuring 4-20mA Current loop Analog signal, can you kindly guide us if this is a good idea? Are we missing something obvious here?

Can you suggest some reference designs that we can study for Voltage Divider or an Ananlog signal Voltage Attenuator for low-cost & high accuracy applications?

In the meantime, were the "level translation" circuits he linked to insufficient for your application? We don't really have any reference designs for resistor dividers since this is such a basic circuit

Hahaa, indeed, I do not mean a voltage divider reference design, but an entire circuit with calculations for us to rely upon.

I am from a Manufacturing Engineering background and have recently started learning the fundamentals of Analog Circuits.

So having a robust well-designed circuit is a good start for me to study the practical implementation.

Do suggest some reading materials for low-cost applications. I have gone through the designs on the Data Converter Circuits Link.
