ADS8689: Differnet input range confugiration in daisy-chain

Hello,

My customer has a question for ADS8689 with daisy-chain configuration.
The datasheet says that all ADS8689s in the same chain have to be have the same register setting like the below.

But my cusotmer would like to set different input range on each ADS8689 in the same chain.
Is it acceptable?

Hi Obata-san,

I'm not sure why you would not be able to set different ranges, we'll ask the design team.

Hi Oba,

You can have different ranges set with different parts - you must keep the SPI format and frame lengths the same for all devices in the chain though.
