TX7332: differnece between TX7332 and TX7516

Part Number: TX7332
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TX7516

Hi,

I would like to ask you a question about the difference between TX7332 and 7516.

What is the main difference betwen the devices?

I suppose the difference is "ch number" (32/16) and "current drive ability" (1.2A/2A).

So we can replce TX7332 with TX7516 in case the lack of current abilty of TX7332 easily.

(TX7332 1pcs ---> TX7516 2pcs)

Is my idea correct?

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards,

Takumi

  • Hi Takumi,

TX7332 is a 32 channel 3-level device with each channel capable of delivering 1.2A current. TX7516 on the other hand is a 3/5-level device 16 channel device with each channel having a 2A drive. The choice between TX7332 and TX7516 is made based on the application. What is the application you are looking for?

    Thanks and Regards

  • Hi Savyan-san,

Thank you very much for your reply !

The customer is considering to develop "Handy type ultrasound system" with TX7332.

But the current capability of it (1.2A) is a little bit smaller than the customer needs.

So the customer will try to change it to TX7516.

I will discuss about this with the customer.

    Best Regards,

    Takumi
