ADS8578S: Setting up PGA

Hello,

I am trying to find is the ADS8578S data sheet information about setting the gain of the integrated PGA, and I cannot find any information on it. How do I set the gain of the Programmable Gain Amplifier?

    Hi Eric,

    Welcome to the E2E forum. 

    The Gain on this ADC is automatically set when you configuring the input range by setting the RANGE pin to high or low:

    • If this pin is set to logic high, then the device is configured to operate in the ±10-V input range for all input channels.
    • If this pin is set to logic low, then all input channels operate in the ±5-V input range.

    Please see the section 8.4.1.2 Range (Input) in the datasheet..
