AMC7836: AMC7836 ADC Input/DAC output application method

My customer wants to set AMC7836 DAC output range to 0-5V, ADC input range to -12.5-12.5V at the same time, with AVCC=AVDD=5V, AVEE=AVSS=GND.

I want to double confirm if AMC7836 can support that. Thanks.

Hi Qiang,

Yes, this configuration will work. The ADC input operation is not dependent on the power supplies, so you will get the full -12.5 to 12.5V range with AVCC=AVDD=5V.
