ADC08L060: Driving voltages at 1.8V allowed?

Part Number: ADC08L060
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC08060,

I'd like to use the ADC08L060 and communicate with a 1.8V MCU ideally without level shifters. In the opening description of this part unlike the ADC08060 it says "The digital outputs are TTL/CMOS compatible with a separate output power supply pin to support interfacing with 1.8V to 3V logic" which makes it seem like it should work. However I'm a little confused by the Operating Ranges table it says:

Driver Supply Voltage, VDR +2.4V to VA

Output Driver Voltage, VDR 1.8V to VA

I was assuming that I could hook up VA to 3V and then VDR to 1.8V for the CLK and output pins, but this is saying the driver supply voltage minimum is different than the output driver voltage? Is this a datasheet error am I incorrect in my approach?
