DAC63204EVM: DAC63204 EVM- Iout configuration

Hello, 

Can you try writing 0x4000 to the COMMON_DAC_TRIGGER register using the low level page? I have seen issues with using the MH/ML buttons in the DAC63204EVM-GUI, but I believe this has been fixed in the SMART-DAC-EVM-GUI. 

What change are you expecting to see? Are you measuring the current output directly? Or is the current output connected to something else?

Thanks for your response. Now I can measure current.

But i have issue that i can't bring current below zero .

is there anything need to configure to achieve below zero?

Hello, 

Are you using the correct codes based off of the datasheet equation? You don't have to do anything to change the direction of the current besides writing the correct code. 

Codes 0 to 127 should give you a negative current. This is current sinking into the device. 

Codes 129 to 255 should give you a positive current. This is current sourcing from the device. 

How are you measuring the output current?

Here we are trying Iout and Vout Margining. 

LDO o/p is 1.8. but when we are forcing current or Voltage to LDO it doesn't change. We are supplying 1.8V for VDD and can we increase the Vref to 3.3V by using Iout or Vout in DACx3204?
