Hello Prajwal Bhuse,
Based on your requirements the ADS131M08 is a device to consider, however we do have devices that may work better for your application. Have you taken a look at the ADS124S08? This device is great for the 4-20 mA loops and has multiple integrated features that help with the measuring of RTD/Thermocouples.
The main question would be: Do you need the simultaneous sampling that the ADS131M08 offers? If not then I would consider the ADS124S08.
Let me know if you have any questions over the ADS124S08
Regards,
Josh
Hello Josh Brown,
Thank you for suggesting part number. Rest specs are complied with the requirement but it doesn't comply with our requirement as 8 differential analog input channels.
Kindly suggest some more part numbers which are aligned with our requirement and let me know for any further queries.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Thanks and Regards,
Prajwal
Hello Prajwal Bhuse,
Given the requirement of 8 differential channels the ADS131M08 is probably the best option. There is the ADS127L18 and the ADS1258. The ADS127L18 is simultaneous sampling like the M08, but it is more expensive and higher performance part. The ADS1258 does have the 8-channel differential, but it is a multiplexed input part. If you need the simultaneous sampling, then the ADS131M08 is probably the best option here.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Josh
Hello Josh Brown,
Thanks for your suggestion. we are ready to go with ADS131M08 but we have certain requirement of ADC for signal conditioning i.e V - I and I - V converter. could you suggest some parts which we can consider for signal conditioning for ADC ?
our voltage and current requirement is 4 - 20mA for current and 0 - 5v for voltage.
Kindly check this and let me know.
Thanks and Regards,
Prajwal Bhuse

Hi Prajwal,
You may need amplifier for your signal conditioning, the support team for amplifiers belongs to different teams in TI. You can post your new query on Amplifier forum here.

Hello Dale,
Thanks for your reply. I will post the queries regarding signal conditioning on the Amplifier forum. still, if i have any doubt regarding this, I'll get back to you.
Thanks for your support.
