TSC2007: Need help with TSC2007

Part Number: TSC2007

Hi Guys!

I'm using an open source navigation system for gliders (www.openvario.de) which is based on a cubieboard 2. Some of these navigation systems using a resistive touch panel, because they are very cheap and not to sensitive, what is very useful during a flight. The cubieboard 2 is very old and there are a couple commercial projects they are using a modern Android board, instead. The Android board they are using has no possibility to connect a resistive touch panel, it uses an I2C touch panel instead. I don't like to build the device completely new, because in that case I have a lot of work to change the instrument panel of the glider. Aside from that all the other users are no longer able to build their device by they self. Thats the reason why I try to develop an upgrade kit, that reuses touch, display, front frame etc. from the old device. Using the resistive touch seems to be not so easy. I bought a TSC2007 bird from Adafruit to connect the touch with the I2C touch panel connector, but Android 13 dosen't recognise the touch panel. I'm in contact with the seller company in china and sent them a touch panel with all necessary adapters, but they are also not able to use touch panel. Now they ask me to provide them with the following information:

They need the complete migration information including driver migration configuration instructions and driver source files, and TP calibration methods.

I would be very appreciate if you can help me!!

Regards
Dirk
