We are currently developing an SpO2 device using the AFE4490 with an STM32 MCU. We have conducted tests using a simulator and a reference SpO2 machine.
During our tests, we observed discrepancies in the data acquisition results from the AFE4490 compared to the expected values set in the simulator and obtained from the reference SpO2 machine:
- When setting the heart rate value to 240 using the simulator, we expected to receive 240 peaks, but we only received 220 peaks from the AFE4490.
- Similarly, when setting the heart rate value to 60 using the simulator, we expected to receive 60 peaks, but we only received 58 peaks from the AFE4490. However, the simulator and the reference SpO2 machine provided the expected results.
We would like guidance on adjusting the input data acquisition parameters in the AFE4490 to obtain the same number of peaks as set in the simulator.
