Hello Cezar,
Thanks for your interest in our ADS1292R. Have you reviewed the material in section 8.3.10.4 and 9.1 of the ADS1292R datasheet?
Also, customers generally find that large cable impedance (i.e. 5-10kΩ) adds too much noise to the respiration measurement. Can you check your cable impedance?
Regards,
Ryan
Hi,
I do not see any useful info in 9.1. but I reviewed both recommended paragraphs.
Still I can get ECG but no respiration ( not at all - meaning noise is not of concern yet).
Can you help if our registers settings are correct or can you provide the registers settings that will work for respiration with ADS1292R TI EVM?
Thanks
Hello Cezar,
Please excuse the delay as I was out of the office the last couple days.
The RESP1 and RESP2 register settings look correct. What does the data look like on the respiration channel (CH1)? I noticed that you are using Gain = 6 - does reducing the gain help? Page 63 offers recommended gain and phase setting recommendations for 32kHz and 64kHz modulation frequencies.
Regards,
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
RESP_FREQ =0 (set for 32 KHz)
We are measuring on RESP_MODP and RESP_MODN a signal around 62KHz. Shouldn't it be around 32KHz?
Hi Cezar,
Are you using the internal or external oscillator (i.e. CLKSEL = 0 or 1)? If using an external clock, what is the oscillator frequency?
Regards,
Ryan
