I'm experiencing the exact same errors as mentioned in these old TI forum posts:

The HMC-DAQ-GUI ERROR 1003 occures when I try to open the program and then the program hangs up.
HSDCPro ERROR 603 occures when I oppen the program, I can connect to my AFE5818EVM and TSW1400EVM but fail to load the needed firmware on to the device.
I'm running windows 10, 64bit system. The device is a university laptop. HSDCPro V4.1 and HMC-DAQ-GUI V2.8 were downloaded from the TI AFE5818EVM website: https://www.ti.com/tool/AFE5818EVM
Is there a known fix to this issue? The other two forum posts resolved the issue by re-installation or switching to an other device... Unfortunately the first didn't work for me and I don't have the second option.
Any help is greatly appreciated :))
